I love Halloween. I like to take my little brother trick or treating around the neighborhood. He usually likes to bring his little friends, so I just turn on my IPOD and walk with them around a few blocks, letting them do their costume and candy routine. Normally, it’s a pain free experience but this year was different. I had my IPOD in one hand and my brother’s candy bag in the other. He had decided he was too lazy to carry it, so I offered. Well anyway, we started talking and I shoved my IPOD into my pocket for later use. As the night wore on, I forgot about it and I decided to race my little brother home. We started running and I heard something clatter behind me just as a car drove by. I looked behind me and saw a mess over the road. Narrowing my eyes and wondering what it was, I got closer. My IPOD! I was horrified. My beautiful IPOD! The LCD screen had been cracked and needed to be replaced. But who ever heard of any way to replace IPOD lcd? Didn’t that mean I was going to have to buy a whole new IPOD? And what about my songs? I didn’t want to have to download everything all over again – it would take me forever! Years! But again, who had ever heard of an IPOD LCD replacement? Needless to say, my little brother won the race as I carried my poor, disemboweled IPOD all the way home. When I got inside and looked up IPOD repair online and found a bunch of links for places that repair IPODs. One place in particular really stood out though, so I decided to pay for my IPOD LCD replacement with them. The website said that all I had to do was mail in my IPOD and they would take care of the IPOD LCD replacement. It seemed really easy, so I got my mom to mail in the IPOD and a few weeks later I had it back. The IPOD LCD replacement had been taken care of and it was as good as new! No one would even know I’d needed an IPOD LCD replacement. My little brother was pretty happy too. He said I should be happy that I only needed an IPOD LCD replacement instead a brand new IPOD… and I agree with him! That car must have hit my IPOD just right to crack the screen and nothing else. Aside from a few scuffs, it’s as good as new! I don’t have to replace my songs or anything. All I needed was an IPOD LCD replacement and I am good to go until next Halloween! Hopefully this was a one-time occurrence, though.
