When I was younger, my family decided to take a trip to Bethel Springs, Tennessee. We had heard there was a dog breeder there that raised and sold Golden Retrievers – and wanted to check it out. We’d been looking for a dog for a long time and had only recently decided on getting a Golden Retriever. They made great family pets and were so beautiful to look at. We’d thoroughly done our research and chosen that specific breed from a long list of possibilities. Anyway though, we all crowded into the car, anxious to get there and find our new family member. I decided to bring my IPOD with me to stay entertained on the drive. It was definitely nice to be able to kick back and relax, listening to my favorite songs as we traveled but… I ended up regretting it. When we got to the breeder’s house, we all were – of course – excited to see the dogs. The breeder took us out to his backyard and started walking us through the kennel. Dogs were leaping everywhere and jumping up on us. They were all so adorable and I really wanted to take them all home with me. I had completely forgotten about my IPOD, tucked away in my back pocket until a big Golden Retriever jumped up against me. He was just excited so I can’t really blame him… but I fell backward and landed right on my butt. The impact had left me with a cracked IPOD screen and fractured my dignity. It was terrible! When I pulled my IPOD out, I saw the big crack through the face and thought there would be no way to repair it. The breeder helped me up, though, and told me about a company online that did a really great job with lcd for IPHONE and IPOD LCD replacement screens. I decided to look it up when we got back home. So, we picked out a beautiful little puppy and started on our trek back to the house. When I got inside I kind of forgot about my IPOD in all the excitement of getting a new dog, but eventually I remembered and went to the computer to look up that apple IPOD repair website. Sure enough, they seemed legit. I told my parents about it and we decided to give it a try. IPOD repair isn’t exactly a do-it-yourself kind of thing. We boxed up my device and sent it to the address listed on the company’s website. Over the next two weeks, in all honesty, it had slipped to the back of my mind because of the puppy but when I got a package in the mail, I just knew what it was. My IPOD! As good as new.
