I’ve always seen pictures of my aunt’s house in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve wanted to go there. The house is beautiful and my aunt decorates it so nicely… I don’t know why I was so fascinated but I was. I really, really was. And I still am – even after having seen it. You see, for my little brother’s seventh birthday, the family decided to take a trip up to my aunt’s house. She had invited us all over and promised my little brother a big surprise when he got there. We were all curious, so we jumped in the car and started on our way. I decided to bring along my IPOD because… well… I love music. Any kind of rock or hip hop is something I can totally jam to. I lost myself in the rhythm of the music as my parent’s continued the drive. My brother was bouncing around like a maniac, anxious to get there and see his present. About half way along the road, we all decided to take a bathroom break and have a quick lunch. Filing out, I leaned against the car as I waited for my family. The thought never struck me it could be dangerous… not until a big biker guy came stumbling toward me. He saw my IPOD in one hand and, through a drunken stupor quickened his pace. When he was close enough, he demanded that I give him his IPOD back and then took a swipe for my gadget. I dodged him, but he caught the headphone wire and tore the IPOD out of my hands. It fell to the ground, leaving with a cracked IPOD screen. Before he could make another move, however, I had grabbed up the electronic and bolted for the restaurant. When I told my parents what had happened, they rushed outside to find and confront the guy. He was gone though… As mysteriously – or as clumsily? – as he had appeared. When I actually looked over my IPOD, I realized it was going to need an IPOD lcd replacement screen and knew the IPOD repair would be anything but cheap. My parents promised we’d get it fixed though. Deciding to find another restaurant for lunch, we got back into the car and took off. It wasn’t until we got to my aunt’s house that I was able to solve my IPOD problem, though. My aunt actually helped me look up an IPOD and IPHONE lcd's repair company and we boxed up the electronic and sent it on its way. I was really surprised to get it back only a couple of weeks later. The screen was as good as new and it looked like nothing had ever been wrong.
