I’ve always been a history fan. I grew up in a history-loving family, in the historical state of Indiana. It was my best subject and the only thing I ever wanted to specialize in. As soon as I graduated from high school, I immediately enrolled in a college near my hometown of Adamsboro and started studying. I had no idea what kind of job I wanted, all I knew was that it had to revolve around history in some way. Then, about halfway through my senior year, an opportunity opened up for me. I would basically become the apprentice of a man that made life-like models of ancient technology for experimental purposes. I was ecstatic and jumped in. I, of course, brought my IPOD along with me to pass the time when I was busy sanding, sculpting, measuring, and welding. It was a real life saver and I fell into a sort of routine. I would help my mentor on his projects and then work on my own with the assistance of my music. Well… as you can imagine, it didn’t long for my IPOD to fall victim to some very brutal labor. I was working on a trebuchet model, scaled down for display, and had been trying to make the thing fire when I popped the lever. The weight at the end of the model snapped back, flipping over like a released mouse-trap and smacking right on top of my IPOD. Oh, the horror! I remember throwing the model in my frustration because, unlike the model itself, I had no idea how to fix my IPOD. Much more, I didn’t know if it could even be fixed. Upon evaluation of the damage, I knew I was going to need an IPOD LCD replacement screen. I had to calm myself down and finish the model, however, so I tucked away my IPOD and decided to look up as much information on how to fix apple IPOD lcd as I could when I got home. The day had worn on and finally I was able to leave. That stupid trebuchet had proven to be such a pain… but it was over and – hopefully – it would never hurt my IPOD again. I ended up settling on one company that boasted quite a reputation dealing with broken IPOD screens and could even replace the lcd in an IPHONE. I looked up the directions and boxed up my IPOD like they told me, then shipped it out. I was amazed when, only a couple of weeks later, I got it back! I gently unwrapped my device and found it to be as good as new! In fact, no one would ever have known I’d even broken it in the first place.
